Converting session to a referral

Either the requestor or advice provider can change an A&G session to a referral.  This should always be done with both parties permission unless there is an urgent change in circumstances, or one party is not responding to A&G messages.

Select the Convert to Referral Modue

Once selected you will see the Directory of Services presented:

You should select the appropriate priority (including 2WW where available), then the speciality (in this case Dentistry and Orthodontics).  The Clinic Types are linked to NHS eRS references, for Oral Medicine, which is not listed, we will select Not Otehrwise Specified.

Select Provider

You will then be provided with a list of providers based on the travel distance from the patient's home address.  Select the appropriate provider based on patient choice and select SUBMIT.
